Isle of Capri

This is were Italians come to vacation. There are 12,000 people almost all involved in the tourist industry. Two million people visit each year and I can see why. It is quaint and picturesque and the weather is Mediterranean perfect.

I liked the little streets that were too small for cars.  I liked all the little shops including all the high-end brand stores like Prada, Louie Vuitton, Loro Piana, Gucci and  Buccellati. The view were exceptional and that's saying a lot considering the places I've been lately.

My favorite part was the chairlift to the top.  It was a cable chairlift about 3 miles long and up the peak of the island to almost 2000 feet.  There were clouds under us and blowing up from hitting the mountain. The chairlift was a single seat a a time affair with your legs hanging down. It made for some wonderful photography.

At the top.

On the back of the catamaran going back.

No much room but, this is a supermarket.

And then there's this guy....
